Voicemail Handy Tips
- To delete a message Press 5
- To replay the message Press 11
- To fast forward eight seconds Press 3
- To end message Press 33
- To rewind eight seconds Press 1
- To pause/resume Press 7
Accessing Voice Messages
- Simply dial 171 from your mobile. If you would like a beginners' lesson to help you get started, this is available by pressing 888.
Personal Greeting Set Up
- Dial 172 from your mobile and then follow the prompts.
Personal Password
- Your confidential personal password is initially set at 0000. You can change it to another number by dialling 173.
Deleting Messages
- Press 5 during or at the end of the message you wish to delete. All played messages will be deleted automatically after 7 days, and any unplayed messages will be deleted automatically after 15 days.
Mailbox Numbers
- Your mailbox number is simply your existing mobile number with the number 5 inserted after the first three digits. For example, 086 0000000 becomes 086 5 0000000
Accessing Messages From A Landline Phone
- Voicemail messages can be accessed from a landline by dialling your mailbox number. Once you are connected, interrupt your personal greeting by pressing #. Then enter your personal password followed by #.
Diverting To Numbers Other Than Voice Mail
- You can divert your phone in the following ways:
Not reachable (phone off): ** 62 * divert number #
Busy (on another call): ** 67 * divert number #
No reply (mobile is ringing out): ** 61 * divert number #
3 in 1 Divert (all of the above): ** 004 * divert number #
Cancel all Diverts: ## 002 #
To Divert All Calls Unconditionally: ** 21 * divert number # |
Voicemail Pin
- Your voicemail pin is a confidential number that was initially set to 0000.
- If you have never changed it, it will still be 0000. This can be changed by dialling 173 from your handset.
- Your voicemail pin is used to access messages from a landline or from abroad.
